Tonight, I attended the new Tracy Letts play at the Music Box Theater,
August Osage County. It was directed by
Anna Shapiro, a lab guest about whom I have yet to write. This is probably the best new American play to reach Broadway since Angels In America, and makes the best axiomatic case for ensemble acting companies we currently have. Alas, the cast will change after the Tonys. More thoughts to come ...
